Error

PDF display RIP failed to create screen image. CPSI Error code: 102


Symptoms

When dragging a PDF into the JIV, an error message appears, or a red "X" appears instead of the image.

Cause

The PDF file contains a monotone CT image.

Solution

1. Open the original monotone image in Adobe^® Photoshop^®.

2. Change the image from monotone to duotone.

3. Add a second ink channel and add a PANTONE^® color (this must be a PANTONE color).

4. In the Curve dialog box of the new PANTONE color, ensure that the values are set to 0% for both 0 and 100.

5. Resave the file.

6. Refine the file and update the layout.
