Symptoms

Complete Title: Pandora Control Palette Disappears From Screen. Selecting “Show Control Palette” or “Hide Control Palette” in the Windows Menu Has No Effect.

The Pandora Control palette may seem to disappear. If you select Show Control Palette or Hide Control Palette from the Window menu, it has no effect.

Cause

Most likely the Control palette has been moved to the edge of the Pandora window so that only one pixel is visible. When this is the case, the Control palette is difficult to see or select.

Solution

Look carefully for the one-pixel edge of the Control palette. Select it and drag it back into view.

Or:

With Pandora not running, delete the scenicsoft.properties file from the Pandora 2.0 folder, then start Pandora. The Control palette appears in the default location.
