Symptoms

During the engineering beta testing of Pandora 2.5, a number of memory problems were encountered on Mac^® OS X 10.2 Classic.

Cause

The problem is caused by a bug in the Mac Java VM. Apple^® is aware of the problem.

Solution

There is currently no workaround for this problem, so support for OS X Classic will not be available in Pandora 2.5. The Pandora development team is working to include support for Mac OS X Native (1.4.1 VM) in the next release of Pandora, which is currently scheduled later this year.

Pandora 2.5 will run on Mac OS 9.x , Windows NT^®, and Windows^® 2000.
