Symptoms

When a PDF is refined in Workshop with the Thumbnail option enabled, when you preview the job in Pandora, the artwork previews but an exception is logged.

The following message appears in Pandora.log, which you can open in a text editor:

======> sun.awt.image.ImageFormatException: Application transferred too few scanlines
======> at sun.awt.image.JPEGImageDecoder.produceImage(JPEGImageDecoder.java)
======> at sun.awt.image.InputStreamImageSource.doFetch(Compiled Code)
======> at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.fetchloop(ImageFetcher.java)
======> at sun.awt.image.ImageFetcher.run(ImageFetcher.java)

Cause

The problem is in either the Apple^® or Sun^® code.

Solution

This is not a serious problem as there are no negative effects from the error. In Pandora 2.5, the error is suppressed.
