Symptoms

Some PDF files do not preview in the JIV, or they preview as a red 'X.' A PostScript^® error may occur.

Cause

This is a known problem in Pandora 2.0 (and later versions) on Windows that occurs with certain PDF files that have non-embedded fonts.

Solution

Re-create the PDF, embedding the fonts according to the instructions in the "Creating Files From Adobe Acrobat for Use in Pandora" documents, which are on the Pandora CD and on the Creo Web site.
