Symptoms

In Pandora 2.8 on a Macintosh, you cannot open Pandora jobs that were saved without a .pnd file name extension.

Cause

Pandora 2.8 now uses the AWT FileDialog on the Macintosh instead of the Quaqua File Chooser as in Pandora 2.7 and earlier. The AWT FileDialog supports aliases on the Macintosh.
Filtering in the AWT FileDialog on the Macintosh does not allow you to open jobs without file name extensions.

Solution

In Finder, add the .pnd file name extension to the saved Pandora job.
