Customer site: Celix 8200 with a Harlequin RIP; 1-bit TIFFs
Speed is not great: 15 minutes for 43 in plate per separation,
but Celix is used as a backup to CTP; issue with punch for
plates >43 in.
Information from Peer Hetzenauer and Stefan Steinle:
Customer site: Celix 8200 with a Celebra NT RIP
In the Fuji RIP, there is a function called Autoseperate
composite. This must be turned OFF when dropping DCS files
into the drop folder; otherwise the RIP starts separating every
single color. You can find these functions in the Job Ticket
editor.
Quality with 1828 dpi is OK for this customer. With 2438 dpi,
there are some moire problems with Round Spots. The customer can
live with it, as they do 90% of their films with 1828 dpi.
