Start with an HP LaserJet 5si process plan (see the HP LaserJet 4MV/5si/5si MX/8100 DN page): PS Raster, DeviceCMYK, 1 Shade, ASCII 85 compression
Modify the output resolution to 1200 x 1200 if you like, but be aware that it will take four times as long to output by going to that resolution. On a black & white printer like this, it likely won't be that valuable to the customer to get the extra resolution. More likely, the customer will prefer the speed at 600 x 600.
Note that Prinergy controls the screening, so the customer may want to experiment with dot patterns to find one they like. The default used in the HP 5si process plan seems to work well for HP laser printers in general.
Same as for almost any HP LaserJet. It comes with a 10/100 Base T network card, so plug it into the network, use the JetDirect software or the printer's menus to set the device's IP address, and install the supplied driver. Share the printer out so Prinergy can see it, and start printing.
Upon testing, it took about one minute to output an 11 x 17 page at 600 dpi with mixed images and text (file size was about 4 MB). The test image was provided by the customer.
