Symptoms |
After being re-installed, Prinergy refuses to start and displays a message box containing "Dongle Missing or Invalid", even though the dongle is valid and connected to the machine. |
Cause |
When Prinergy is installed, the Sentinel drivers are installed automatically. After the Sentinel drivers have been installed, the Sentinel driver will no longer function until the machine is rebooted. This causes the dongle checks in DASS to fail. | |

Solution |
Reboot the server on which Prinergy was installed (as the installer recommends). Permanent fix: |
