Cause |
Status 1106 indicates an incorrect blocksize for the tape, so Archiver is having problems reading the header of the tape. When accessing a new tape of a multivolume partition, the current blocksize is incorrect. |

Solution |
Run Rawtape to scan the medium header. If the result lists the medium header properly, then the problem is a corrupted blocksize value for the tape. Update the AraxiBlockSize value in the registry for the problem tape. It is under \\hkey_local_machine\software\Creo\Araxi\RSM\LogicalMeida. It is in Binary and hex; the hex value should be 3136333834, (16384 = 16Kb). Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
