Cause |
In Prinergy 1.1, there is no way to find out which jobs have been archived on a particular medium. This command file can help to find out all the archived jobs on a tape. | |

||
Solution |
1. Create a folder called "ListJobsOnTape" onto the Prinergy Server D: drive, e.g. \\%Prinergyhome%\CreoAraxi\Support\Bin folder. 2. Download the ListJobsOnTape.zip file from the Related Links section, below, to the folder and then extract it. It contains two files: ListJobsOnTape.cmd and ListJobsOnTape.sql. 3. RCMD into the system. 4. Go to a DOS prompt and change to the location of the folder that you created on step 1. 5. At the prompt, type "ListJobsOnTape". You will be prompted to enter a mediumname. If you press enter without any mediumname, it will list all jobs on all the mediums. Note: Entering the medium name is case-sensitive. This script is only required for Prinergy 1.1, as there is a database report for Archiver in Prinergy 2.0 that lists the archive medium contents. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
