Solution

NOTE: When adding or changing the SCSI card inside a server that may affect the SCSI port id, lun id, target id and logical unit id of the existing configuration for the Archiver, these values may change. This only applies to Prinergy 1.1 using Archiver Media Manager.

1. Before adding/removing the SCSI card, run Archiver Config Wizard to remove the archiving device.

2. Shut down the system, add or remove the SCSI card, and perform the appropriate steps for setting up the card.

3. Run Archiver Config Wizard to re-install the archiving device.

Note: If you forget to perform the above steps before adding/removing the SCSI card, you will need to delete the following registry key and then run the Archiver Config Wizard to re-configure the device:

\\Hkey_Local_Machine\Software\Creo\Arch PVR 0\Physical Library A.

JUST THE PHYSICAL LIBRARY A KEY ONLY.

Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0
