Symptoms

The purge fails with the message: "RSM service is not running". The error logs says: "Unable to connect to RSM Service". When you checked the RSM service, it shows as STARTED.

Cause

Solution

Try to stop and restart RSM service.

If it cannot be stopped, you need to reboot the server.
