Solution |
We need to rename the registry key to something else and rename it back. 1. Open up regedit, locate to \\hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\Control\NTMS\OMID\Tape, save this key to a file as Tape_bad. 2. Stop RSM Service. 3. Rename \\Hkey_local_machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\NTMS\OMID\Tape\Creo key to Creo1. 4. After the key has successfully renamed, rename it back to Creo again. 5. Start RSM Service. 6. Save the Tape key again to Tape_Fix and send us a copy to evaluate. Permanent fix: |
