Symptoms |
After restoring archiver job using NTBackup on MTF tape to the original job folder, purge cannot delete the job. Get error "Access denied" to delete the file. |

Cause |
Archiver does not copy the security permission of the file to old Araxi 1.0 format tape, so when doing medium copy to copy the old format tape to the new MTF tape, it does not contain any permission for the file at all. | |

Solution |
When restoring file using NTBackup, change the Advanced option to uncheck restore security. Permanent fix: |
