Symptoms |
Qualstar library which does everything except inject and eject, when you select inject/eject, the I/O port doesn't open at all. |

Tape library configuration settings were lost during firmware upgrade. | |

Solution |
LCD display shows Qualstar None: a) Go to Configuration\Advanced\Changer\Mechanic\ model - select the correct model, like 4222i for e.g. b) Go to Configuration\Advanced\Changer\Mechanic\I/O Port select A c) Go to Configuration\Advanced\Changer\Mechanic\BCR - select the correct barcode reader type, (see barcode reader type under the gripper of the Library), for e.g. WA3700/B-2221 d) Power off and on qualstar, delete the qualstar in the RSM, reboot the server to allow correct configuration in Windows.
