Symptoms |
After rebooting the system, RSM does not detect the tape library changer, it only shows as standalone drive. In Registry, \\Hkey_local_machine\Hardware\DeviceMap\Scsi, the changer and drive of the tape library show up properly. However, in \\Hkey_local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\NtmsSVC\Config, it only shows the standalone key, not the changerX key. |

1. Go to Computer Management, expand device manager, right click to select Show Hidden Devices. 2. On the right pane of device manager, select Non-plug and play drivers. 3. Select aspi32 driver and disable it. 4. Reboot the system. 5. Reconfigure the tape library in RSM. 7. Delete the standalone drive in RSM. Permanent fix: |
