Symptoms |
When you roll back a Prinergy system from 2.2 to 2.1, you cannot start Prinergy, and the license key is invalid. When you try to enter the license key in UADM, the UADM disappears. You have no way to re-enter the license key to start Prinergy. |

||
Cause |
Prinergy-LicenseKeys.dat does not get backed up when the current workstation is at 2.1 and you upgrade to 2.2. This is a problem when you change the license key in Prinergy 2.2 and then do an uninstall of Prinergy 2.2. You will be left with the new Prinergy 2.2 License key with Prinergy 2.1 vlfdf file. When you open UADM and go to Manage License Key menu, UADM will disappear. | |

Solution |
This problem has been fixed in the Prinergy 2.2 release build. This tech note is just for reference. Workaround: Copy the old Prinergy 2.1 License Key file from the snapshot. Permanent fix: |
