Symptoms |
If the 2.0.5 Major Update (2.0.5.0) is uninstalled, and new items had been added to the system path variable since the 2.0.5 Major Update was installed, these added path items will be lost. |

Cause |
Currently, when the 2.0.5 Major Update installs, it appends some new path entries to the path variable. It also saves the original path variable (entire path string) so that it can restore this path variable if the 2.0.5 Major Update is uninstalled. When uninstalling the Major Update, the 2.0.5 uninstaller simply resets the path to be the original 2.0.4 path variable. What it should do is remove the items from the path that it originally appended. This means that if some additions were made to the path variable subsequent to installing 2.0.5, these additions will be lost when reverting back to 2.0.4. |
