Symptoms |
The normalizer fails to start. The error message below shows it is crashing when it attempts to call NormalizerServerInit(). |

Cause |
The Normalizer is crashing due to a corrupt Host Font Cache. The Host Font Cache is kept in the file %AraxiHome%\AdobeExtreme\Bin\HostFontCache\hfcache. |

Solution |
Remove the HFCACHE file from the folder and restart Prinergy. When the normalizer starts up, it will create a new HFCACHE file. Note: You cannot simply stop or start the normalizers because they are stuck in the "Starting" mode. . Apparently, this will be fixed in Prinergy 2.3 (with Normalizer 6). Permanent fix: |
