Solution |
To fix the problem after upgrading to 3.1.0.0: Change any CRC value less than 0 within the DBCS_ArchiveFile table to a positive number. 1) Start SQLPLUS from a command prompt window. - D:\> sqlplus prinergy/araxi@araxidbserver 2) Update the database. - SQL> UPDATE DBCS_ArchiveFile SET archivefilecrc = archivefilecrc + 4294967296 WHERE archivefilecrc < 0; 3) Commit the transaction. - SQL> commit; 4) Exit SQLPLUS 5) Check that purging is now successful. --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To fix the problem after downgrading to 3.0.3 or lower: Change any CRC value greater than 2147483647 within the DBCS_ArchiveFile table to a negative value. 1) Start SQLPLUS from a command prompt window. - D:\> sqlplus prinergy/araxi@araxidbserver 2) Update the database. - SQL> UPDATE DBCS_ArchiveFile SET archivefilecrc = archivefilecrc - 4294967296 WHERE archivefilecrc > 2147483647; 3) Commit the transaction. - SQL> commit; 4) Exit SQLPLUS - SQL> exit; 5) Check that purging is now successful.
