Symptoms |
Can't figure out if the Harmony installation is OK. |
Cause |
The HarmonyExe registry key is used to tell the Harmony application where the PPD and CFG files live. This is why if Harmony$ is AdobeExtreme\bin\Harmony, you need to move the *.cfg files and the Calcurve.hmy database file to AdobeExtreme\bin\Harmony, and if Harmony$ is Program Files\Harmony where the Harmony application files are actually located, you need to move Prinergy.ppd to Program Files\Harmony. | |
Solution |
1. \\PRIM_SVR\Harmony$ share created on the primary Prinergy server. 2. The following files located in \\PRIM_SVR\Harmony$: -- Calcurve.hmy (Harmony database) -- Prinergy.ppd (Harmony PPD file with canned data for Prinergy) -- *.cfg (densitometer config files) 3. Harmony application files (Harmony.exe, etc.) living on some computer, not necessarily the primary server. 4. Harmony registry keys (in HKLM\Software\Creo\Harmony) on the computer where the Harmony application files live set as follows: HarmonyDatabase = \\PRIM_SVR\Harmony$\Calcurve.hmy HarmonyExe = \\PRIM_SVR\Harmony$\Harmony.exe Permanent fix: |
