Symptoms |
***Applies to Prinergy 1.1; and 2.0 Connect, Direct, Powerpack, and Satellite, depending on licensed configuration.*** When duotones coming from Adobe Photoshop are refined with gray image rescaling (also known as downsampling) activated in the process plan, the Pantone colors are converted to CMYK. This happens with duotones placed in Quark, and with duotones that are refined directly. |

Cause |

Solution |
A. Deactivate the gray image rescaling in the Refine process plan and re-refine the job. B. Update to Priergy 2.0.6: an automatic correction is applied during output in Prinergy 2.0.6 and later. To update a Prinergy system, Request Support Online. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
