Symptoms |
The customer has high-resolution continuous tone scans (8-bit, not a Copydot) that, after using color image resampling, display "jagged" edges. This does not happen if the customer disables resampling during Normalize. The problem is visible both on PDF and high resolution Spectrum proofs and plates. Photoshop resampling works fine. |

Cause |
The Adobe image resampler sometimes doesn’t do an ideal job. |
Solution |
We have the ability to activate the Kodak-built resampler.
Note: This option causes a slowdown in performance (estimated at 10% to 15%). |
