Symptoms |
Drive on renderstation fills up with files entitled "(NULL).xx" |
Cause |
Files are created sporadically by the RIP which can fill up disk space under certain random conditions. Adobe doesn't have any idea what conditions these files are created. | |
Solution |
Currently, Prinergy will find files older than 10 minutes and delete them (presumably, the RIP is done with them by then.). In some cases, 10 minutes is inadequate. The 10 minute value can be tweaked in the registry under ...ADBR\ADBR_NULL_FILE_CHECK_INTERVAL. This is in milliseconds (600000 = 10 minutes). Permanent fix: |
