Symptoms

Using TCON, you want to inspect a task ("process") that you suspect problems with. Typing in the task ID number and pressing Return actually exits the application.

Cause

TCON (Task Server Console) is a graphical utility for monitoring and controlling the internal operation of the "Process Daemon" (formerly known as the Task Server)

Solution

Click the Refresh button after typing in the task ID, and do NOT press the Return key.
