Error |
Symptoms |
A warning message appears in the Prinergy system backup log file: "Error message found in NTBackup log file" |
Cause |
In the log file created by NTBackup in each backup step, there may be non-fatal error messages generated when a particular file is skipped. These errors may or may not be important, depending on which file is skipped. For example, the following files will sometimes generate NTBackup errors: UsrClass.dat NTUSER.DAT These files are specific to the account running the backup service, so it is okay if they are skipped. The only consequence would be that this account would have to be manually recreated if this backup were used. |

Solution |
View the NTBackup log file for this step. It can be found in the %AraxiHome%\CreoAraxi\system\log\backup\NTBackup folder. Determine which files were skipped in this backup step by searching for error messages (denoted by 'error:'). If you are sure these files are not vital, then this error can be ignored. If you can't tell whether these files are important, contact the CreoScitex Reponse Center. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
