Symptoms |
On an imposed proof or final output, some text appears to have a *lot* of extra space between the characters on one page. If the same page is viewed in Acrobat, proofed as a loose page proof, or moved to a different page position in the imposition, the text is normal. |

Cause |
Cause is unclear – appears to be a problem with the Adobe Extreme RIP. | |
Solution |
The problem appeared in imposition job tickets made with Preps 3.6. When Preps 4 was used, using the same imposition layouts, the problem went away. Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
