Symptoms |
Vector data in a Photoshop 6 EPS file is lost during OPI. |
Cause |
Photoshop 6 allows users to embed vector data (such as vector text) in an EPS file. If you place this EPS in Quark, print thin PostScript, and OPI through Prinergy, the vector data is lost (though the raster component of the EPS is present). | |
Solution |
Create fat PostScript out of Quark and bring into Prinergy without OPI. The resulting PDF will contain the vector data from the EPS. Alternately, upgrade to 2.1.0.4 or higher. Permanent fix: |
