Symptoms |
While refining, Prinergy uses its own versions of the Base 14 fonts if they are not already embedded in the incoming PDF. This may be a problem if the customer has a different version of the same fonts. |
Cause |
If a PDF has been created using Distiller Settings where the Base 14 fonts (Courier, Times, Palatino, etc) are NOT embedded, then Prinergy silently uses its own internal versions of these fonts. However, the TrapEditor will notify you that it is using the version on the client system that Acrobat is running on. |

Solution |
Set Distiller to embed ALL fonts to avoid any potential problems later. The "Prinergy Distiller" settings included with each Workshop installation are set to do this. Permanent fix: |
