Cause |
The Heidelberg trapper does not trap pattern color-spaces. This is not intended to be supported within the near future. Trapping patterns would require to convert them to standard vector graphics. For complex patterns this may dramatically increase file size. |

Solution |
Adobe Illustrator 9 (or later) retain patterned fills. Saving as an earlier version (7 or 8) forces Illustrator to convert the patterned fills to vector art that the trapper can correctly process. Switch to the Creo PDF Trapper. Permanent fix: |
