Symptoms |
User has an NT volume mounted on their Mac and can see a list of files and folders at some level within the share. However, when they use any of the Workshop dialogs that allow them to browse the file system, they see a subset of the folders at that level. To reproduce: Select a folder in the NT Mac Volume share. Replace permissions on the folder to include only Administrators and System, full control. Remove any explicit reference to the user that will be accessing the folder from the Mac, thereby disallowing them access. |

Solution |
The folders they don't see are ones which they don't have access permissions for. To see those folders, the NT Administrator must grant the user permission to read/write to these folders. Permanent fix: |
