Symptoms |
Both spot colors in blends or duotones are converted to process even when you've specified that only one spot color should be converted to process. All spot colors in a DeviceN color space map to process when one is mapped to process |
Cause |
Objects that use DeviceN colorspace list all their spot colors together. When you choose to convert one spot color to process, all spot colors are converted together. Such objects include duotones from PhotoShop 5.0.2, gradient meshes from Illustrator 8.0.1, and spot color blends from most versions of Quark XPress. | |

Solution |
None- this is a known limitation with the DeviceN color space. Permanent fix: |
