Symptoms |
When trying to run Acrobat, you get these two error messages: "There was an error loading the plug-in 'AraxiGeometry.api'. Two plug-ins are attempting to register with the same name." and "There was an error loading the plug-in 'Geometry.api'. Two plug-ins are attempting to register with the same name." |

Cause |
This problem is caused by the Prinergy installer changing some Acrobat folder names. More specifically, in order to get rid of instances of the "Araxi" name, the geometry plug-in AraxiGeometry.api was renamed to Geometry.api in the Acrobat folder structure (below the ...Acrobat\plug_ins folder). Acrobat tries to load both and chokes. | |
