Symptoms

In page proofs, application trim and crop marks appear outside the final trim and bleed area. Some customers don't like these extra marks.

Cause

Solution

Set up a 1-up Preps template that crops off all these extra application marks and use this for proofing. To do so:

1) In Preps, make a Preps JT that has N 1-up signatures in it, and add the correct number of blank pages.

2) In Prinergy, add the template to your job, making sure to choose "Auto Select" in the signature window. This will automatically add the correct number of templates.

3) Assign pages to the template, and then do imposed proofs of each signature.
