Symptoms |
In Prinergy 1.1, output JTP seems to hang for a long time, then finally crashes. In Prinergy 2.0, output JTP crashes soon after rendering begins. Quark page with blend. Freehand EPS with patterns on top of blend, with Quark blend showing through the Freehand EPS. Composite PS out. This Normalizes okay, but crashes output (for example, standard LP VPS). |

Solution |
1) Distill PS to PDF (using Acrobat Distiller) before bringing the file to Prinergy. Or ... 2) Create the blend in the FreeHand file instead of using Quark Blends, then place in Quark as a whole image. Or... 3) Pour Separated PS from QuarkXpress, Distill, and submit to Prinergy. Con: Cannot trap in Prinergy. Permanent fix: |
