***Applies to Prinergy Connect, Powerpack, Direct, Satellite, depending on installed configuration.*** CEPS JTP fails when processing TIFF/IT pages with a high-resolution contone (HC) file. No PDF page is produced. |

Cause |
TIFF/IT pages can contain an HC file, but the CEPS JTP fails when processing pages with an extremely complex HC file. | |

Solution |
A. If possible, change RIP settings to use LW, not HC. B. Change RIP settings to simplify the data in the HC file. For example, avoid putting vignettes and photos in the HC file. C. Translate TIFF/IT to Brisque page (CT/LW) on a Brisque (if available). D. Use a third party application such as CEPSLink to create DCS files from the pages and then process in Prinergy.
