Error |

Symptoms |
A hairline artifact appears in the CT area of a CT/LW page. |
Cause |
The boundaries between CT strips should be able to be represented exactly in points. If the CT resolution is an odd number, rounding errors can cause gaps in the CT. | |
Solution |
Set the CT resolution to one of the following: 300, 320, 360, 375, 400, 450, 480, 500, 576, 600, 720, 750, 800 - You can do this at the RIP (Brisque). - Or, you can do this at the Optimize stage (select a CT resolution from the list above). - Or, you can also do this in the registry on the Prinergy server: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Creo\Araxi\2.0.X.BLDXXX\Default\CEPJ\CEPSJtpOnXXX - Set CTResolution to the desired DPI (such as 300 in decimal) and set SubsampleCT = 1. . If you are using the CEPS JTP in Prinergy 2.0.7, or PDF2Go in Brisque 4.0, this should not be necessary (should not get hairline artifacts in CT area.) Permanent fix: Prinergy 2.0 |
