Symptoms |
***Applies to Prinergy Connect, Powerpack, Direct, Satellite, depending on installed configuration.*** Vector JTP fails to output a page that contains RGB data. Prinergy may report: The input file page.pdf can not be converted because it uses an unsupported feature : CSEP_DeviceRGBConverter can't separate images yet..[1207103] |
Cause |
If a page has RGB data but no ICC profile applied to the RGB data, then the Vector JTP cannot accurately separate color, and fails. | |
Solution |
A. Run the input file through a Refine process plan that has ColorConvert enabled, and two (2) default RGB profiles entered and enabled. Note: Override Embedded Profiles does not have to be set to on. Prinergy will then ignore any embedded profiles, and apply the default profiles to the images that don't have a profile. The Vector JTP will process the resulting file. Permanent fix: |
