Symptoms |
You output a page with a DeviceN image to PostScript or DCS using the vector output JTP. You then re-input the page into Prinergy and refine, and utput the page to TIFF (or any other proof or final output). The DeviceN image does not appear in the output page. |

Cause |
When separated, DeviceN images are converted into an indexed deviceGray color space. Objects that use this color space are not displayed correctly by the Adobe PDF library. | |

Solution |
Use the Color Matcher when refining pages with DeviceN images. This will replace all indexed deviceGray color spaces with simple deviceGray color spaces, so images will appear correctly. Permanent fix: |
