Symptoms |
Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator drop shadows become much darker when flattened with Prinergy 2.1.0.16 and earlier. |
Cause |
Drop shadows in Adobe InDesign or Adobe Illustrator make use of transparency. The current PDF 1.4 flattener in Prinergy 2.1 will incorrectly make the drop shadow objects too dark when it flattens them. | |
Solution |
Use InDesign or Illustrator to flatten the affected pages. A new flattener, which will remedy this issue, will be available in a future Prinergy 2.1.0.17 patch release. Permanent fix: |
