Symptoms |
Adobe Illustrator data includes ASCII control character (for example, <0x0a>) and Morisawa OCF font is chosen for the character. After refining the file using the Prinergy CID font, some characters are overlapped. |
Cause |
The cause of this problem is a difference in pitch between the OCF and CID fonts for ASCII control characters. | |

Solution |
Download the Fixed_CMAP_File.zip, and install the new Fix-C-83pv-RKSJ-H file in Prinergy to fix the problem. . Procedure: 1. Backup the Fix-C-83pv-RKSJ-H file on \AdobeExtreme\bin\Resource\FixCMapCategory. 2. Copy the new Fix-C-83pv-RKSJ-H file to \AdobeExtreme\bin\Resource\FixCMapCategory. 3. Restart the Prinergy Normalizer JTPs. . Note: If an input file uses CID fonts, it may cause problems if you install the new Fix-C-83pv-RKSJ-H file. In this case, you must restore the original (backed up) Fix-C-83pv-RKSJ-H file to \AdobeExtreme\bin\Resource\FixCMapCategory. Permanent fix: |
