Symptoms |
OPI fails and reports error message: "Image reader Scitex CT failed to read the file <... .EPS>" |
Cause |
This message is probably caused by a user attempting to recompose a DCS when performing OPI into composite PS, when the DCS has more than 8 channels. Prinergy can currently handle only 8 channels in this manner. | |
Solution |
There are two possible solutions: 1. Reduce the number of separations in the DCS by removing unnecessary channels in Photoshop. 2. Alternately, if the job requires 8 separations for the image, you can output separated PS or build the file with overprinting images. Permanent fix: |
