Error |

Symptoms |
Files Normalized in 2.1.0.18 and lower had expected default trim geometry (trim box was same as media box). Files Normalized in 2.1.0.19 and higher have unexpected trim geometry (trim box is now an unexpected value). |
Cause |
%%PageBoundingBox is a rare comment in PostScript -- none of the mainstream desktop applications create it. However, some applications will use it to define trim geometry. Preps apparently would respect and use %%PageBoundingBox. Prinergy 2.1.0.19 and higher will use %%PageBoundingBox to set the TrimBox geometry. |

Solution |
If a site encounters unexpected geometry that they are not happy with, you can remove the %%PageBoundingBox functionality from Prinergy by removing the file %ARAXIHOME%\AdobeExtreme\bin\CreoStartupNormOnly\TrimBoxFromComments.ps Prinergy will no longer set Trimbox geometry from the %%PageBoundingBox comment.
