Symptoms |
The CEPS JTP cannot process a CT/LW set if the .assg file is missing. |
Cause |
Because it’s hidden on the Mac, this file sometimes gets misplaced. | |

Solution |
You can reunite orphaned LWs and CTs using PressTouch. It takes a few steps to put it back into “page context (.p), but the resulting page works through the CEPS JTP. The procedure is as follows: 1. Open the LW in PressTouch. 2. In the “CTs palette, click the new button (bottom of palette). Add the desired CT. 3. The new CT will have a color of “0. Click the “0, which brings up a new window. 4. Click the Assign button (pointer becomes an eye dropper). Click to a “gray part of the LW data that you know the CT is supposed to show through. 5. Save as a Page, then bring the resulting page into Prinergy via the CEPS JTP. 6. Check your output results carefully to ensure that the page is as you expect. Permanent fix: |
