Solution |
Usually, this problem can be resolved by using the Finder and selecting Go -> Go to Folder menu item, and navigating to "/var/automount". Delete the folder called Network (it will be automatically recreated later). Log out and log in. Problem *should* be resolved. . If it is NOT fixed, then you may have the Norton AV problem. The server will be having problems, too. You may see messages on the server like "Not enough server storage is available to process this command" or "Not enough memory to complete transaction. Close some applications and retry". The Event Viewer may log this message in the System log: Event ID : 2011 Source : Srv Description : The Server's configuration parmeter "IRPStackSize" is too small for the server to use a local device. Please increase the value of this parameter. . A fix (resetting the IRPStackSize registry value) is documented here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;177078 Permanent fix: |
