Symptoms |
CEPS JTP takes a long time to process pages, leaves AcrNNNN.tmp files in E:\temp folder |
Cause |
There seems to be a problem with PDFLib6 and the way the CEPS JTP is interacting with it. | |
Solution |
Drop-in fix. Since this fix uses PDFLib4 in the Prinergy 2.3 context, there is some concern about this process being risky, although it has been tested at several customer sites and passed internal testing. This fix enables customers, who found performance problems or temp file issues with the original 2.3 CEPS JTP to manually drop-in a fix. This problem will likely be fixed in the near future since Prinergy uses PDFLib7. . Instructions to install: - In Administrator, turn off all CEPS JTPs. - Go to AraxiHome\AdobeExtreme\bin - Rename existing "PCEPSConversionJTP.exe" to "PCEPSConversionJTP.exe.23original" - Unzip attached file (password "creo") and put in the AraxiHome\AdobeExtreme\bin folder - Repeat for all servers running CEPS JTP. - In Administrator, restart all CEPS JTPs.
