Symptoms |
When you are installing Prinergy Workshop, the message "another version of this product is installed" appears at the "installing Separation Repair.pdf" stage. |

Cause |
The problem is not the actual "Separation Repair.pdf" file, but an old version of Virtual Proofing System 2.0 beta. Certain updates of Prinergy attempt to install the new released version of Virtual Proofing System 2.0 (which occurs after the "Separation Repair.pdf" file is installed). It is the Virtual Proofing System installer that is having a problem with the older version, not the Prinergy Workshop installer. | |

Remove the old version of Virtual Proofing System 2.0 beta from the workstation and reinstall the Prinergy Workshop update. Permanent fix: |
