Symptoms |
Double-clicking PDFs in Workshop results in the OS X Preview application being launched instead of Acrobat. |
Cause |
When you double-click a PDF in Workshop, Workshop makes a very simple "open" command. It relies on the OS to determine which app to open the file with. It seems that the "Launch Services" on some Macs might get confused, or require volume-specific indications of the application to be specified. |

Solution |
To get the PDF files to open in Acrobat: - browse to the job volume in question. - click once on a PDF file and then press cmd + I (get info). In the "open with" section, select Acrobat as the default application and click on the "change all" button. - REPEAT this procedure for a PDF file that is resident on any other volumes (local Mac, other RAID/job volumes).
