Symptoms |
Prinergy Workshop 3.0.3.0 login does not work in some network environments. Symptoms: - Login by servername no longer works. If you first log in via the IP address, subsequent logins work as expected. - Login screen takes a while to see server, determine if update is required. - NetInfoManager needs Prinergy server name to be lowercase. - Sometimes it is required that you delete the user preferences to log in (could not do version check otherwise). |

Cause |
There were some changes in 3.0.3.0 relative to 3.0.2.x with respect to name and server resolution. It is possible that some of these changes, though more stable and accurate than what existed before, cause problems in some cases on some networks. | |

Solution |
Log in via the IP address. There is some anecdotal evidence that installing the latest Apple updates for the OS X 10.3 and 10.4 streams also helps. Permanent fix: |
